ETF : diversifier sans avoir Ă choisir chaque action
Document type: press article
Literal English translation
By giving access, in a single transaction, to a set of securities, ETFs have made diversification more accessible.
The principle is appealing because it simplifies entry into the markets and makes it possible to avoid choosing each stock separately.
But this apparent simplicity should not make one forget the essential point: you need to understand what you are buying.
The article, published in L'Express, recalls that one idea remains deeply rooted among many savers: to invest on the stock market, one would have to know each company, follow its results and try to anticipate the evolution of its share price.
ETFs challenge this view, while leaving intact the question of understanding the product.
